If you like the meridian brothers I'd check out Bomba Estéreo, same genre of music. I dont think they are as interesting or good, but they are still alright.

Decibel is a prog band from Mexico that is pretty good, but if you dont like prog dont listen to them.

A good psych band that really blends tropicália into their music well is Os Mutantes, I'd definetly check them out.

Another good psych band from the 70s is Traffic Sound, I think they are from peru.

I need to do more research on the noise scene below the border and find some quality shit to recommend in these threads
