Great albums with covers that put you off listening to them
This looked like some free jazz or abrasive no wave to me, and was certain i wouldnt enjoy it at all, when its actually some of the catchiest and tightly written psych rock of its time.
Funny, I went into it expecting great Psych Rock for how much I was seeing it on /mu/, but got an album with a couple good songs, but was otherwise just average.
Also pic related for me.

That album is 2deep4me
Good thread
I thought pic related was gonna be some dated late 90's shiny suit rap, but what i got was a super consistent, comfy ass album with GOAT tier production and thought provoking lyrics

Go away, shit taste
>>65070530
this album is pure shit
>>65070554
Its so much fun though... i guess i can see the interludish tracks getting just tiresome, but imo it all flows really well

Bump
This looked fairly generic. Like some rolling stones ripoff, turns out to be an amazingly cool album with endles good ideas

i dont have a taste
>>65070554
It's just really boring jazz fusion.
There's better stuff out there but /mu/ has an awful taste in this kind of stuff
