Lately I've been listening to the Robert Glasper Experiment/Drumheadz. I think they're amazing. I also have been listening to a little Jazzkamikaze. Spectacular improv sax and guitar solos!
I was wondering if I could get some feedback. The music I make isn't really understood by many people, but I know fans of jazz music might appreciate the theories behind it.

With higher quality production and a non-synth horn this would be pretty good. The drums are cool

Thanks man. I did't think anyone would really appreciate what's going on. The beats are fractalized in 13, and section 2 is proportionate to section one, but the time signature is flipped into 8, so I had to use the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio to make the melody proportionate in time and still maintain that swing shuffle feel.

I always get stuff like that when I'm composing in odd time signatures. The second I add in polyrhythmic stuff I suddenly have a ton of math to do
who here /Funked Up East/?

I love it. I wish more bands incorporated odd time signatures because it lets you hear an entirely new dimension of sound.
Does anyone have essential free jazz records jpg?
why do these threads always end up being about free jazz
is there anything else people on here like?
