You Still Believe In Me
>>65056600
My top 3 moments in Pet Sounds are:
>I wanna cryyYYYYY
>when Bruce Johnston repeats Carl Wilson's "God only knows what I'd be without you" and they keep harmonizing while in the instruments come back in
>OH CAROLINE NOOOOOO
>>65056690
you still believe in me

sorry for the unnecessary reply, shoulda refreshed

agree with all of those. It's such a cool effect in God Only Knows, how the new lines begin before the previous ones have ended, you know? that outro is just perfect

Revolver is better than Abbey Road.

And I always adored that it was Bruce in particular singing the "reply". He had a very distinctive voice among the Beach Boys, and I feel like the outro just wouldn't have worked nearly as well if it was, say, Al or Dennis singing the part. It brings a nice contrast to Carl's voice.

(not true, by the way)

It IS true.

I like Dylan but nothing he did beat Pet Sounds, and Bringing it All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited are both better than Blonde on Blonde.

i can name at least 5 Dylan albums that beat Pet Sounds by a long shot
Anyone seen brain Wilson live recently? I'm thinking about seeing him next month but not sure if he's still got it
