I've missed out on 2 of these artists, but all the ones I have heard have made a few good albums and some have made a few bad albums (for example at this point the bad muse albums outweigh the good ones). just ignore the shit.

You are a newcomer to /mu/, yes? I don't mean to signify seniority and grandstand, but I feel that you are perhaps unused to board culture or are at a different stage than many of us. I think a point of being here on /mu/ or a point of cultivating taste is to only be conscious of what you are adding to your listening, and to let the past wash out unnoticed. There's no reason to bear ill will to things you've grown tired of. Sounds like some kind of self-consciousness. Just always be growing and discovering new things. Have a nice day :)
