In sheer emotional impact and creativity nothing else by the Beatles comes close, and nothing by any other group is even in the same league
Not a bad album for a cut and paste segue. Side two flows together quite seemlessly. Not a particular favorite of mine, out of the whole catalogue, but enjoyable, nonetheless.

everyone here shits on this album because "muh beatles" but it's really a serious contender for the greatest album of all time. on my 2nd listen of the album in its entirety i really learned how to appreciate it, and every track on the album with the exception of with you without you (because that song is bad, however the peaks of the amazing tracks like a day in the life or getting better) brings me into a state of sheer bliss

Can someone explain that album to me? It's a piece of shit. Not a single song on it is memorable. I'd gladly pick Rubber Soul/Revolver/Sgt. Pepper/White Album/Let It Be over it. To me it's 3/10
