perfect albums thread
one of my all time favorite black metal albums and that will never change. i have been listening to this album at least once a week for about 8 years now

Take off The Blarney Stone and Waving My Dick and it's perfect. Those aren't even bad but they don't really fit.
But yeah, fantastic album. I've listened to it too many times to count. I think I prefer Quebec slightly but both are Ween's god-tier prime work and overall mostly cohesive.
Also, great artwork. Really wish they sold it on a shirt/poster because I tried to make one custom online and because of 'copyright' I can't.

Sure, they're fun songs but they ruin the cohesion a bit IMO. Especially Blarney Stone. That song I find I skip generally unless I'm at a pub in Ireland which doesn't happen often.

I think you're probably right, Ween perfected the art of lo-fi on their first few albums, but I think once they worked in a really nice studio with some really good engineers and top-notch studio musicians on 12 Golden Country Greats, they wanted to make an album like The Mollusk where every song was fully fleshed out and immaculately produced.
