Nope. The Kinks and the Beach Boys are awesome, but every Beatles album basically revolutionized music when it came out. Besides Pet Sounds and maybe Village Green, no BB or Kinks albums really did much in terms of lasting impact

I can honestly barely stand the Kinks, they have some decent songs but the band was more of a singles band, the Beatles were both singles and albums, that's why they are so big, and they were also the reason why the LP got more notice
