Vocals (with exception of man/woman) and lyrics aren't enough to keep me interested / invested in much abstract or emotional flavor / meaning / narrative in these songs. Cadence / rhythm / structure-wise, for droning on so slowly it's well-organized. A few tracks in I notice it fading into the background of my attention, forgetting it's all there apart from the general tone or texture. Not to say I don't dislike that tone and texture, big walls of droning distortion and noise are nice esp. when broken up a little, ever so often by the slow-ass tempo.
