Cultural appropriation is a meme complaint. It's both racist and anti-creativity while claiming a high ground, and it's made more ridiculous when you realize it implies that you should be able to listen to or view the art of other cultures but under no circumstances be influenced by any part of it. For some reason people try to link appropriation with overt racism when the two concepts overlap only a small percentage of the time.
