I can't do it man. I can't listen to people who wear all black while it's sunny.
Also I'm too cheery for this shit in the summer. Winter moodiness is supreme /dark/

Eh, I know its basically hand holding at this point but it's better than spoonfeeding a recommendation for an album for you to take the effort to go download it (or just fucking look it on youtube) so you can add another to the backlog. When you hang out with friends or, gosh the horror, go to a dive goth club you expect to hear songs individually from various artists. Though you may expect to experience the same songs over and over at the clubs/bars if you've been familiar with that area of music for a long time. Lot less tripwanking in /dark/ except for the occasional veteran of the good ol' days.

Any other suggestions for depressive suicidal or blackgaze? I like this stuff.

maybe not exactly /dark/ but Weakling is amazing and very influential proto-blackgaze. More riffs that something like Alcest but tons of great atmosphere and feels.
They only released one album unfortunately.

Oh, and I'd like to point out that the black album / their s/t is best saved for last if you feel like exploring their whole discography. It's sort of a last hurrah for them, as frontman Tsoi died in a car crash and this album was made from the surviving tapes in his glove box. There's a few remix albums and a kind of shitty reunion album that came after, and RYM lists another Tsoi album as coming out after Black even though it really came out a year beforehand.
>>64754025
that death in june album isnt really industrial. It's neofolk
>>64756457
Sunbather and softer shoegaze is pretty amazing summer evening music imo.
>>64753818

does anyone have electro-industrial essentials
If I wanted to make shoegaze and post punk influenced music, what type of guitar and bass would you guys recommend?
