I've got a serious problem /mu/, hoping you can help me out. Recently I discovered Gary Numan's track "I Am Dust" (and I appreciate that music snobs speak in albums, not tracks, but I'm a song-by-song kinda guy...)

Anyway, my problem is that it's... singular. I can't find even ONE song by ANYBODY that could go on a mix tape with it.
Type-O-Negative is a parody band, so that won't work.
Alphaville's "A Victory of Love" starts off perfect but quickly goes into stupidville.
Simple Minds "The American" is close, but a bit too jovial...
GAH, I am not going to be able to do this, am I? There's really nothing that's going to keep up with the detached howl of "I Am Dust" is there?

Interesting track. I find with NIN they're either too "pop" or just reek of effort... but this could work. Not sure if it was the YouTube quality but the mix seemed off... will see if I can find another version. Thanks.
