Is he the most influential non-"EDM" or "IDM" dance music producer of the past decade?

I don't like the term IDM
but he pretty much single-handedly created a genre, so i'd say he was pretty influential
also my favorite artist bar none

What the fuck do you guys all see in Untrue?
The beats and atmosphere are cool but the songs always get too repetitive for me
>>64709543
u dont listen 2 much dance music do u? because untrue is rooted in the hardcore continuum of garage, dubstep, jungle/dnb, etc.

I prefer Burial to Untrue, actually. I'm not sure why; think it might be because Untrue sounds flashier and Burial is more muted. Strangely enough I heard Untrue first.
>repetitive
I enjoy the staggering feeling, the off-kilter and unbalanced beats. I listen to quite a bit of trance, as well, so to me his songs feel so short that even if they didn't vary at all I'd hardly call them repetitive.
