Does Iran have a pop music scene, or is that considered harām? I'd love to listen to any Iranian / Persian music /mu/ has got, be it folk, classical, rock, hip-hop, vaporwave, metal, you name it. So if anybody is on /mu/ right now who is in the know, please share some knowledge!

iran has a huge growing movement of hip hop right now. most of it is illegal in iran, but people play it anyways. i find that farsi as a language flows extremely well over hip hop beats. check this out:
