I am a fan of the nonpatrician original lyrics. Sounds better than 'hang on to your ego' and it does make sense to me

Agree that "I know there's an answer" sounds better but with the other lyrics it just feels awkward like he's holding back what he knows he wants to say. A few changes could've fixed it but, eh.

My favorite album. I'll go with That's Not Me, but there's really not a weak track on Pet Sounds.

Probably Sloop John B. Not that it's a bad song, it's just that it doesn't feel right in the narrative of the album. It feels off when it appears. It's not that I don't like the song, I really do, I just don't think it's right for the album.

Other than that, maybe my pet peeve is with that middle 8 on Here Today where it's almost entirely just rhythm guitar and occasionally a harpsichord. It feels like there are a few things missing in there.
