I haven't listened to any full albums from my birth year.
I either listen to albums at least a decade older then I am, or albums from the last 5 years.
I'm not big on 90's music anyway.
1996 is the year btw.
I'm open to suggestions.
I've heard more then just these 3 songs but the ones I've rated for 1996 are
>Cake - The Distance 4/5
>Eels - Novocaine for the soul 4/5
>Butthole Surfers - Pepper 4.5/5
In the Aeroplane over the Sea
1989 was a really off year imhotep.
I think After Dinner's Paradise of Replica is the only masterpiece from that time.
ok computer, i guess
No wonder crappy 90s alt rock is so big on /mu/ now.
It's literally dadrock to you guys.
You are le wrong generation kids without even realizing.

what do you mean?

I mean somebody who was born the year Pinkerton was released is much more likely to mythologize it than somebody who was already alive and listening to music at that time and remembers how shit it was.
I'm too old to have a good listenable music released in my birthdate.
Isn't Anything
Critical Beatdown
Straight Outta Compton
1988 was pretty awful for music.
I've never been so proud to be old.

Pinkerton is alternative for robots, it's TFW no GF/suicide watch-core
The band still has some commercial moment, that's why it's still mentioned on /mu/. I'm willing to bet at least half of people praise it here read /r9k/
