>>64545382
probably not as most of it would be lost on me really.
I do. I grew up with it actually.
Acts I've seen live:
Earl Scruggs
Doc Watson
The Osborne Brothers
Del McCoury
Vassar Clemenens
David Grisman
Peter Rowan
Ralph Stanley
Sam Bush
Tony Rice
Jerry Douglas
among many others, all the usual cast on the bluegrass festival scene

seen Del, Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas out of those. I see a lot of up and comers at festivals around me but I can't get enough of the classics.
Just got the first four Bluegrass Album Band records off discogs. J.D. Crowe is really incredible. I'd love to get Tony Rice's Manzanita, my favorite flatpicking album, but there aren't any copies for sale right now.
Only listen to Bluegrass Classics by Larry Sparks.
Any recs based on this? i really dig the guitar/banjo/mandolin/double bass combo
