Most post-punk sounds pretty cold to me. I think that's the reason I dislike a lot of the post-punk I've heard (that doesn't have obvious influences from other genres); it seems so lifeless and cold

this album didn't click for me until i listened to it while working 3rd shift as a security guard, all alone in a freezing cold factory one -20°F night. i believe i was eaten some instant ramen to try to warm up a bit when i first queued it up
