OP here, just finished listening to Jenny Death a few minutes ago, didn't really like it.

The first two lines refer to the virtues of doing a public service (in this case, driving a bus): helping people and feeling good about it. The second two lines proceed to mock this as being too basic, particularly with the line “You do what my people would grunt”, in which the word “grunt” connotes the image of a lowly, unimportant worker. For this song’s narrator, or at least for his “people”, being an important, powerful person is key.
Is this their best album? I think it is.
