How is he overrated, honestly? The guy put out three incredible albums in a row and one of them was made of outtakes. Not even dickriding him, I understand not being totally hype on his stuff but give respect where it's do. I would possibly concede he's overrated only because he's received so much overwhelming praise that it's inevitable he's overrated even if he is excellent.

Yeah, I mean every time I listen to TPAB I hear something new.
Some nice wordplay, I uncover a new theme or connection, etc. Just a few days ago I realized that Alright throws back to u "Lovin' me is complicated," "Lovin' you is complicated."

1. Jay started from the Ghetto he actually can speak about his troubles, Earl is the son of someone from Upper Middle Class Suburbia who never had real troubles.
2. Jay may go on about "Black Struggles" but at least doesn't do it 24/7 on Social Media, Earl does but has never actually experienced said struggles.
3. Jay made good albums in his early career that although we're not genre defining were decent and didn't rely and being a derivative of Horrorcore, Earl has thusfar released nothing that isn't purely derived and apart from "flow" has no positive traits as a rapper about from "Supreme bitch nigga with a hurd urrr spaceman adderall looking big lip bish" (aka stealing Kool Keith's style).
