ITCOTCK ... A Rock-music specific 10, absolutely expanded the soundscape of their genre in imaginative, original ways and with fantastic lyrics.

MBDTF ... I don't care for production, this is a better than average rap album with a weak, arrogant motif.

MPP ... Some of the best neo-psychedelia in the indie world, and completely developed textures. Vocals are a little abrasive and at times seem separated from the music instead of blending with them.

TMS ... A distinct milestone in whatever style of hip-hop you choose to label this as. Industrial is present in the best possible way, each song is unique yet distinctly stylistic to these guys. A monster accomplishment within the sound.

OKC ... Obviously wildly influential on all of rock music in the 2000's, but the album only as a piece of music- I personally feel like it lost relevance quickly.

Kid A ... The better work here in my humble opinion. More dreamy, more ethereal, more larger-then-life. Experimental alt-rock's new age blueprint

IN RAINBOWS ... This is not /mu/core.
Pet Sounds ... The holy grail of pop music. To give this album less than a 10 within the confines of pure pop sound would be foolish. Influential, solid, memorable, catchy.

Loveless ... One of the largest gateways in modern music. To approach their style of rock with the mastery that they did was a total gift. the emotion woven into the tracks it met only by it's infinite relevance.

Madvilliany ... Far above average rap album in terms of lyrics and background beat. Fails to deliver any sort of message, which for a poetry based genre like hip-hop is slated to be, I can't rate it too highly, but it is great.

TMR ... I won't give this a fair rating because I don't 'understand it'. I didn't enjoy the album at all, it felt way to abstract and pointless.

Spiderland ... An achievement of all music. The sheer depth of the work alone is almost unbelievable. Several allusions and internal references throughout the music make people who approach this album from a totally academic standpoint think of Bach-like patterns, people who approach it with a purely "I'm going to experience the music" without any theory knowledge will be taken on an adventure through their minds darkest past. Finishing O Captain leaves me feeling like Dorothy at the end of the Wizard of Oz
10/10 One of the best albums I've yet heard.
Remain In Light ... Great album that gives a strong summary of it's decade. The music is creative and ambitious for any time period though.

Nico ... More influential than enjoyable, I personally am not the biggest fan of this album, but I respect the work.

Illinoise ... Indie Folks likely holy grail. Completely emotional, completely beautiful, and as a true testament to the work, it has a very Chicago vibe to it. Some of this artists greatest work (and the genres) rest on this masterpiece
