S/T. PGMG has a huge place in my heart, was engaged to a lovely girl and that ended, listened to it almost everyday after for months though these days This Charming Man is by far my favourite.

>this charming man(classic riff, just very good post punk influenced pop)
>cemetery gates(I dont think ive heard a more beautiful guitar riff and vocals so peaceful. This song makes me want to cry even though its one of their supposedly happiest.)

Also would like to add that s/t (yes even with the not so impressive production. It took time time to grow on me and if you didnt like it but still like the smiths, i would recommend you to listen to it again ) and strange ways(got me into them initially and it has the best aged production) are the best (also the other albums feel less like albums and more like collection of singles so that adds to it)
