Yeah I get that impression when listening to Wonderful. Even with some backing vocals flown in to pad it out, it still sounds kinda thin. I think the problem with the Smile Sessions is that they follow the BWPS formula, for example H&V would have been a lot better if they just did release the Cantina version.
