Well I'm interested to see what Emotional cathartic noisy stuff you're talking about. But uhhh like as far as punk goes... some faves are Big Black, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, BTMI, Streetlight Manifesto, Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Descendents, DFA1979, Drive Like Jehu, Shellac, etc etc etc
