Its very limiting in comparison to the main pomemon games as you can only catch shadow pokemon (there are about 50 in the whole game, and they are always the same). However the battles are a lot of fun and imo it is a lot more interesting than playing a standard 8 gym pokemon game. You should definitely give both a go.
