I mean all music has influences (either non-musical or musical), but this is probably one of the most unique sounding groups of all time and I couldn't easily guess their influences

music without influences is a great thread concept, but no one will take you seriously with lcd soundsystem as the only substance to your post.....

I think it'd be pretty much impossible to be perfectly without influence...i think all art has to reference the past just by definition, otherwise it would be smothered in obscurity and lost forever...but I'm sure there have been successful artists who knew nothing about their art/had nothing to reference in their form of creating....but it'd be rare to find.

i think the overall tone of op's post is meant to be seen as sarcastic
