I do lurk some times, and I usually don't find post punk or goth discussed all that often.
Also, does it really matter to classify artists into specific genres? I thought post-punk was an umbrella with many sub-genres, goth being one of them.

personally, i like a few modern deathrock bands like catholic spit, fangs on fur, christ vs warhol, and a few others

That's a coincidence, I had just put this record on before visiting mu. It's not too bad, I think I just only like the genre in small doses. Plus I don't know a ton of artists.
