This is satire, right?
Satire of what?

Beatles / pop music

>He hasn't read Seeing the Light
It's not satire, it's just a good goddamn pop album from some recovering drug addicts who desperately wanted to be famous. It's Lou Reed saying "Experimenting with production and song structure was fun for a few years, but there is literally nothing wrong with pop songs".

...So it IS satire.

Loaded is severely underrated. It definitely stands up with the other TVU albums in its own ways. Definite 10/10 for me.

???
I don't think you know what that word means.
The record label asked for it to be "loaded with hits" or some shit like that after years of bad sales

It's not satirical of it in any way though. Stop using words you don't understand the meaning of.
>>64188774
From what I've read, I honestly don't think that's the case

That was actually a Reed quote. He said some thing like "They asked for an album loaded with hits, so that's what I gave them". But if I'm not mistaken, "they" is referring to Sterling, Doug, and Moe instead of the record label. The band was all pretty desperate for money at that point, especially Moe with her pregnancy.
