This album is great. Nosferatu Man is my favorite. Anything else similar to this?

If Nosferatu Man is your favorite track you need to check out Bitch Magnet ASAP.
Rodan's Rusty is another classic of Louiseville rock, get on that.
All of June Of 44's albums except Anahata, start with Engine Takes To Water.
All of Unwound's stuff, check out Fake Train first.
A Minor Forest's Flemish Altruism.
Shipping News' first album, "save everything."

This is new on me, thanks man. Never dug Indian Summer too much.

I wouldn't say that. Jeff Mueller's approach to guitars is a lot different than David Pajo and the lot. Underrated stuff.

i don't know man, i really love the album too and agree that the guitar work is fantastic, but the song structures, vocal delivery, and the particular style of loud/soft dynamic shifts were all employed in (what i thought was) a very similar fashion to slint on spiderland.
i thought it was funny that they even put one morose, whiny singing track in to rival washer (sink is busted)
>Nosferatu Man is my favorite
contrarian or shit taste desu

embarrasing desu

The self titled is way better. Not a single track on it, I may actually like it more than Spiderland, even though that album isn't nearly as influential or ground breaking.

That's how I feel about Rusty to be honest.
>>64186482
I found it quite lifeless and repetitive. They are really belabouring it.
>>64187334
i was just memeing at you son, but breadcrumb trail is probably my favourite track lol so

I definitely see the similarities, but Mueler, Meadows, Scharin, and Erskine definitely made it their own with tracks like Mooch, Take It With A Grain Of Salt, Mindel, I Get My Kicks For You, and Sink Is Busted.
Sink Is Busted is a different beast than Washer. Washer is long, a classic of rock. Sink Is Busted somehow seems more intimate to me though, I can't really explain it. The little bell sounds created by the guitars, it's one of my favorite songs.
