This album wastes so much time in self-indulgent, quirky half melodies that by the second half of the purported better side it's already overstayed its welcome.

There is nothing interesting to me about this album.

The extent of its sense of composition is twelve tracks of the same lackluster singing inflection all taking place in the exact same register met with noodly bass riffs interspersed with useless/nothing strings sections to lend it the contrived merit of highbrow relevance. There's nothing instrumentally or vocally that accelerates this album in any discernible direction of emotional character from beginning to end. You end in the exact same place you started.

And if all those elements could be excused, this is NOT catchy, and if there is a greater crime to commit for a supposed "chamber pop masterpiece", this album wouldn't have the substance to approach it.

Offensively unoffensive/10

What am I missing here? Why do so many people love this album?

So many fucking skits it makes me want to scream.

This is like parody levels of wasting runtime.

I mean, there are some songs on it that I enjoy, but I can't seem to "get it", you know what I mean? Every time I listen to it, I think, "oh, I'm jut not in the mood for it right now, I'll warm up to it eventually".

Still haven't warmed up to it.

This is exactly how I feel about Loveless.
