i'm actually doing a short-run cassette release as the inaugural release for a tape label i'm starting. Cassettes these days I think really are a noise thing because in that particular scene they're easy to make and they have a strangely disposable feeling that intersects well with the aesthetic values of most "music" that one might consider to be "noise". My solo project is called Thick Ankles, so I might post about it in the noise generals in a minute. I have a bandcamp, but this is the first cassette with this project.

since people are posting their own cassette tape projects here, I'll throw mine in.
I make my cassettes from recycled books on tape. Each tape is 100 minutes long. It is classical piano, field recordings, and lofi. I paint every tape, j-card, and stamp the designs. Been working on this since last june. Hope you guys like it!
