carter tutti void is sorta technoish stuff, I'm shit at identifying techno genres but I'd call it industrial techno just cause it has cosey fanni tutti in it. I find it to be really relaxing and great for studying. nothing like kpop though, I make that mistake all the time when looking at charts.
I like everything I've heard from rome, although that triple album is somewhat tiring to listen to.

I haven't really gone into the other albums that much. I think playful is actually a good word for something I was trying to put my finger on. Not necessarily a bad thing, though, but things get a little uppity sometimes. But the first four tracks on The Rose Has Teeth are great.
