What is some good blues /mu/? Haven't really listened to much outside of BB King and Robert Johnson.
Preferably high quality recording, Johnson is good the recording quality is just offputting
i hate hate hate blues, but i like some of this album. should be in the archive.
a lot of the most venerated blues artists i.e. leadbelly aren't going to have HQ recordings.
Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, and Willie Dixon arent too bad
classics are good

Bad recordings is what really makes some songs for me. The damaged early recordings of Robert Johnson is great.
Charlie Patton and Skip James are two of my favorites

I don't really give a shit about blues aside from a couple of the old classic artists. I particularly like John Lee Hooker and Blind Lemon Jefferson, Jefferson specifically having a really beautiful and haunting voice.
Muddy Waters is pretty good, too.
