Where do I start with making music? I don't know shit about anything.
I wanted to make something like this: https://youtu.be/KHhpFGmmUMU?t=1m24s
But I don't know what program to use, how to use it, but i'm willing to learn.
ableton is your best bet.
it's a slow process, there is so much to learn about basic theory + how to make shit sound good. good luck though.

I already know music theory because I took a piano course when I was young, so that won't be a problem. I'll dedicate some time to learn it, thanks mate
I don't just get a decent program like fl studio. Just keep experimenting until you make something good. Remember music is all about pattern and structure. Literally anyone can make music.

>thinking knowing theory means you could make music

I once tried to make a piano music by myself. I spent hours on it, and only a small bit sounded good. It really takes a fuckton of time to make good music, I hope I don't lose my patience

well it doesn't mean you can make good music but it helps if you are starting out. nobody really claimed what you are greentexting.

well i never said anyone can make good music i just said anyone can...

well yeah, i kinda goofed up putting the word "good" in your mouth. just that shit like ableton or even fl studio can be overwhelming but if you even know the basics about how music works, it helps a ton
it also takes a lot of fucking time learning about the tools you're given in something like ableton, it takes a long time to become proficient with all of these things together so just practice as much as you can and read up on audio engineering techniques

yah I picked up producing about a year ago, and shit.. im still a far way from sounding good.
