I can see where OP is coming from if this isn't bait, considering it's such a varied album with minimal lyrics.
I have to say that it's their bleakest album by far.
The first three tracks are perfect, and the quality is high for the following two tracks, but after that there's a significant dip. The string arrangement in Dollars and Cents is poor by Jonny's standards and the title track was done a hundred times better in Kid A. Luckily the final two tracks are great.
The transition from Pyramid Song into Pull/Pulk is the single best moment in their discography though. No other moment in music has the same effect on me, although I guess it's similar to the first transition in IV. Mount Eerie.
