up until a week ago I had only really listened to Gimme Chocolate, but since I'm seeing them live in May I figured I should put both albums in heavy rotation. It was in the background on random so I'm not sure which album I like more. I can tell you I really like 80% of what I heard.

They weren't ever one of my favorites or anything, but I definitely unironically liked some of their songs and musical composition. Still think The Impaler is a pretty sick song. Their lyrics are really the only cringey part.

Technically it's sort of a double album by the way since Odyssey to the Gallows is meant to be an intro to it but it's just a standalone 28 minute spoken word/instrumental track. Odyssey to the West is easily one of my favorite albums so far this year though.
