I always liked them a lot and this is my favorite album as well. Rose and talon of the hawk are decent although I didnt like their last album

because a lot the people who view /mu/ are dudes who view music taste as a dick waving competition and generally look to each other rather then themselves as to what they can accept as being "good".
Interestingly enough I found The Front Bottoms off of /mu/ back when the self titled just came out and everyone was all over it. But as soon as everyone liked it, nobody liked it for that exact reason. /mu/ works in cycles like that.
