Starting question: Rollercoaster New Jersey or Bridge New Jersey?
Rollercoaster New Jersey is far superior

I listened to Contemporary Movement and I thought it was horrible, what happened? Am I just an idiot or did something happen to based Duster?
I just found out that there was actually an official music video for Red House Painters' song 24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vhtpAIbIpQ
Listening to some Bluetile Lounge and staring at the wall. How is everyone else's nights going

rollercoaster version, imo
the lighter instrumentation fits the song a lot better

Yeah, it's got a really different feel. Cooking is one of their best songs though

I liked a couple tracks on it but it just felt really... I don't know. Sterile? I liked duster because it sounded like it was recorded with one microphone that was a toaster in another life, but Contemporary Movement sounds a lot better produced which I don't think fits their feel. Plus, Stratosphere felt a whole lot more cohesive with that one riff that kept repeating with some variation throughout the album.
Idk I'll have to give it a relisten here soon
i've posted this record numerous times on this site and i've failed to find anyone else who is familiar with it. if you're at all interested in the genre i'd seriously recommend this. there's nothing quite like it in my opinion. think a really gin-soaked nick cave played with a heavy emphasis on the slow, with some really noisy (at times) guitar shrieks and great accentuated drumming. some great lyrics and an overall dark and encompassing atmosphere. it really feels like more people should love this thing.
What about Sophia and Savoy Grand?

>>64124803

Which riff are you talking about? Never noticed that there's a repeating riff running through the album
why r slowcore fans so chill?
Does anyone else adore pic related? I think this might appeal to some fans of slowcore.

I like this chart, although I'm going to be that guy who mentions the lack of Bluetile Lounge. Maybe Cat Power too.

Love this album. Tbh I just love death cab in general but God this album is so comfy. I remember my junior year of high school in the fall just laying down on one of my friends lawn at night with three of my closest friends just listening to this, occasionally talking, mostly looking up damn
Who else here /Mark/?

What does /slow/ think of Arco? I think they're great, especially their song Alien.

Would Amusement Parks on Fire s/t fit, I'm not that big of a fan but I know some people like it and I feel it should be brought up.
