I just bought a Fiio X5 and my right earplug makes no sound, no matter what earplugs I use, but they work fine otherwise. I'm pretty incompetent with tech and came to /mu/ to see if there was some sort of mp3 player thread so thanks for this thread. Any help?

run your sink with hot water (not skin burning hot). tilt your head, pour a little bit of water into clogged ear, wait 30 seconds and then pour out water into sink. then wet hand with hot water for a good bit until your hand is somewhat steaming. then use the PALM of your hand and press it against the clogged ear. you'll feel a suction with your ear with this method and then release. clean leftover residue with a tissue NOT a qtip. repeat until you can hear.

there are lots of products for earwax removal, drops and things. you can also visit an audiologist or maybe just or general practitioner and get them to clean out your ears.
if you use drops, you will put them in, cover it with cotton, let it dissolve overnight. what the first guy said might work too.
