Holy fuck, so after brushing off Newsom for her voice I gave this another chance at the suggestion of a friend and it absolutely clicked. Why didn't yall tell me it was so good, her voice is so much better than her earlier work.
I guess it's time to revisit Ys and Milk-Eyed Mender.

Have One On Me has Joanna's best vocals on record and is also her best, but the others are great as well (not in spite of her voice, but in part because of it).
