I actually don't know nothing about the band, I just had a quick listen to Currents, and I'm finding it difficult to define it Psychedelic Rock...can someone explain it to me?

That album is closer to psych pop.
It's actually pretty cool. I used to not like it, but some songs like The Less I Know The Better and New Person, Same Old Mistakes are just fucking GROOVES.
If you are looking for the psychedelic rock side, listen to their first two albums. They are both alright, Innerspeaker being more rocky than Lonerism though.
