and here I am with my new purchase. the 1995 Washburn Mercury MG - 401
it needs a re-string and rewiring (it's a bit crackly) and the intonation set up. I'll wait till my flat wound Thomastik strings to arrive next week before I take it to bits.

strings are dead, ordered some proper ones, looked at replacing th neck pickup with a DiMarzio DP-whatever but spent all money on prostitutes so just a packet of strings then
