Most record stores put their leftover stuff online after RSD is over. Don't know where you can buy stuff online on the same day, that kind of defeats the point of Record Store Day.

The skeleton dance was just the audio from the cartoon, it's mostly sound effects. I don't know what I was expecting. The devo record makes me want to fucking kill myself, it's the devo equivalent to Neil Young's rock and roll Starbucks. It's easily the worst thing to come out of devo. I might just throw it away.
The residents record is fucking dope though. White vinyl and it's pretty much a best of.

Please Do Not Steal It is pretty good. Its just a compilation that was sent to radio stations back in 1979 so there's not much that I don't already have. I think I read that there were only 300 in the UK so I'm glad that I managed to get it.
Fishscales Falling is fucking rad though. Didn't know that it was on yellow vinyl, either. Apparently the album was only previously released on iTunes so I'd never heard any of it before.

Record Store Day is dead. Thank God.
Every year the list was shittier and the lines were longer. Last year must have been Peak Shit (tm) because
1) The biggest independent record store in the city, with the best location, outright refused to do RSD this year.
2) Tiny lines. I lined up 20 seconds before the store opened and we were all inside within 10 seconds. Roughly the same thing happened at two stores, one at 8 AM and one at 10 AM. At the latter there was still a line at 11 AM last year.
That being said, I think I spent more money this year than any other year. A little more than the first RSD I went to. The list was good that year. This year I wanted two things and got one of them, but I also bought three box sets I'd been staring at every RSD for the last three years. And got 20% off, which was nice.

he's a mastering engineer. It's actually a good forum to be honest. I usually browse the site to find out info about the quality of different pressings, different masterings and what not. Not everyone there is a vinyl drone. It's a very good site if you want information about a release because a lot of people there know their shit. Sometimes people in the music industry post there (different mastering engineers, producers, etc...)
