What do these fancy buzzwords even mean. No, you paid $150 for a pair of closed headphones that sound miles away from anything $1000 and above, or even $300 for that matter. You can't call something high-end when these are the only pair of decent headphones you've actually tried.
And just for the record $150 IS NOT high end, it's mid-range, just a tier above beats and bose shit. I'm not saying m50s are bad, but don't kid yourself here.

Fidelio X2s. I paid £230 for them when they first came out. I've even seen them for £300 on Amazon.
Right now though they're £163 on Amazon which is an absolute fucking steal. If you're in the UK and looking for a new pair of headphones for home listening in the £100 - 200 price range, get on this quickly.

I was really close to buying a pair of Tesla T1s when they were on sale a while back because the right monitor in the HD650 broke. Sennheiser has cheap replacement parts though so I fixed it for like 30 bucks instead.
