The majority of the site are mindless drones, but atleast it's a bit better than rym

It's better than Rate Your Music but the hivemind mentality of it is about as bad as reddit. The circlejerk over Frightened Rabbit and Deftones going on right now is both incredibly undeserved and super cringey. Both of those albums are mediocre at best but the community is rating them in the great to perfect range

I used this as a resource before I discovered RYM. It was fucking horrible. Anyone else hate AllMusic as well?

I don't hate Allmusic at all. Their reviews, for the most part, are short and tell you only what you need to know, and the song samples are very convenient.

What do you hate about the rym community?
It's the only site where I can a decent amount find ratings and reviews on some music and their genre categorizing is usually on point.

Where I can find*

I don't find any good reviewers. SPIN magazine used to be good before they overhauled their staff.

Now I just use three websites to find out what are newly released and form my own opinion:

I think a massive amount of the forum users are obnoxious dickheads

the actual website, lists and reviews and shit is brilliant which is why I use it. the forum posters though are fuuucking insufferable.
