Does /mu/ know about Ho99o9? Just found out about them since I'm going to a festival where they will perform (Emmabodafestivalen). From what I've heard this far it's pretty damn great.
If I were to describe them I'd say Death Grips + A$AP Rocky + hardcore punk.
Some songs are pure Black Flag while some are really #420blazeit and some sounds a lot like Death Grips.
They also seem to put on one hell of a show from what a picture search gave me. Pic related.

I never said modern punk is bad, I don't think it is. I just don't think there are any really progressive bands out there. And "regular" punk is a pretty hard genre to push forward.
