A problably better (and easier) version of your idea is works like this
1-Create some account called mulistenalong
2-Add users doing listen along as friends
3-Check the chart of top releases (not just albums) by friends
4-The users listen to this album (or the top one not rated yet) and everyone rate it
5-go back to 3.
This idea is also cool because the chart will be an always updating thing, if some album is just on top because the lack of votes it will be updated to the right position.
It sort of how a chart would be if everyone knew/listened all albums that exist, well in a literal way, but if something is on top because of someone not knowing/rating it, it will be listened by everyone involved and it will down in chart positions
If this dubs we listen to this, I never listened but one time with a friend i loose.
