I'm more used to this with an acoustic. And I mean if I was in a studio this is how I'd record my tracks.

I'm actually trying to get better at playing while standing up, which is much easier with an electric than an acoustic.

My first guitar looked exactly like that. It was an Ovation Acoustic Electric but I'm pretty sure it was one of the cheaper version.

Ovations are great guitars, and incredibly cheap for their level of quality. I've seen a lot of them since I live around where they're built.
