/mu/ is just full of contrarians as per usual.
They're already at that stage Slipknot was at when they blew up in 1999-2000, so they're going to be around for years. At worst their momentum will hit stagnation, but they'll still have their following to sell out shows, or some unforeseen circumstances will break up the group but they'll all have career opportunities and a dedicated following.
Or there is always the alternative that the Ragnarok will kill them.
