Maladroit and EWBAITE were great
I don't think anyone is pretending EWBAITE or White are amazing 10/10 albums, but they are both pretty darn good albums, at least 7/10.
People like to shit on weezer for making formulaic pop music when thats all they ever did. They just used to put more effort into it, and regardless of what you think about white you have to admit its the most work Rivers has put into an album since Pinkerton.
I agree and I've developed an airtight strategy to combat this issue: I don't listen to it
